Listen Торба-на-Круче songs and lyrics from youtube The history of the band begins in 1998 in St. Petersburg, where, in the fall, on the club scene, "Молоко" (Milk) hosted the debut concert of Торба-на-Круче (pronounced "Torba-na-Kruchye"), composed of a total of five professional musicians. The first performance was very successful, followed by a short concert tour, and the first positive reviews in the press... It didn't take long for the music critics to turn up. After the Moscow-St. Petersburg tour, Торба-на-Круче started to really wow the stadium crowds, from St. Petersburg rock festivals "Прорыв-01" (Breakthrough-01) and "Окна Открой!" (Windows Open!) to "НАШЕствию-2001" (INVAsion 2001) (as well as 2002 and 2004) and many others. In the summer of 2001, Торба-на-Круче signed a contract with "Бомба-Питер" ("Bomba-Piter") (published by Manchester Files) and recorded a debut album, "Непсих," with sound engineer and sound producer, Андрей Алякринский (Andrei Alyakrinski) (Tequilajazzz), known for his work with such popular groups such as Чайф (Chaif), Marksheider Kunst, Ленинград (Leningrad), etc. The song, "С дождя" (Since the Rain), immediately climbed the charts onto the "Чартовой Дюжине" (Chart's Dozen) and to "НАШЕм Радио" (OUR Radio). After the success of that single, another single from the same album, "Интернет" (Internet), also went into rotation on many Russian radio stations. In the same year, Торба-на-Круче began touring more Russian cities, and the media started to call the group, "Открытием 2001 года" (Discovery 2001). Autumn 2002 saw the release of the band's single, "Номера" (Numbers). 10,000 copies were released as a free supplement to the magazine "NME" (pronounced "Ee Em Eh"). In February 2004, Торба-на-Круче held their first performances outside of Russia. The performances were two concerts in the major Finnish cities of Turku and Helsinki, which laid a solid foundation for future tours. And in the summer of that year, Торба-на-Круче played a concert in Stockholm, Sweden, where they entertained the Grand Nordic Council of Ministers. The band planned future trips to Iceland and Norway. On April 5, 2004, "Никитин (Nikitin) Records" released their second album, "Час времени" (The Hour of Time). In August 2004, a new single, ""Личная жизнь" (Private Life), hit the charts, on OUR Radio's Chart's Dozen. It's a song the group included in the reissue of their second album. At the same time, accompanying the publication of "Композитор" (The Composer), the sheet music to eleven of their songs was released in the series, "The Best of Russian Rock." In March 2005, the group held a big concert tour, "56 параллель Земли" (56 Parallel Earths), and, of course, without changing the tradition, that summer, Торба gave noted performances at music festivals in Europe and Russia, among them "Мегахаус-2005" (Megahaus/Mega-house 2005), "Крылья" (Wings), "RADIO 1" (Latvia), "Rock Festival" (Finland), and others. In November 2005, keyboardist and flutist, Артем Беспалов (Artem Bespalov), left the band. The rest of the band then started working in the studio and recording their third album, the release of which was planned for spring 2006. Торба-на-Круче has also been involved in duet projects and other musical experiments. Three duets were recorded: with Евгением Федоровым (Eugene Fyodorov), the song, "Numbers"; with the ex-producer of TATY (T.A.T.U.), Леной Кипер (Lena Kiper), "Ничья" (Draw); and with Михаилом Боярским (Mikhail Boyarsky), the song, "Остров детства" (Island of Childhood), for a New Year's broadcast of "Первая ночь с О. Меньшиковым на НТВ" (The First Night with G. Menshikov on NTV). Торба-на-Круче also released cover versions of two tributes: one of "Гражданская Оборона" (Civil Defense) and another of "Пикник" (Picnic) -- the song, "Пуля-дура" (Bullet-Fool), from the former, and the song, "Иероглиф" (Hieroglyph), from the latter. Торба-на-Круче filmed music videos for the songs "Зима" (Winter), "Internet," and "Что непонятно" (What is Not Clear), and those clips are in rotation on major channels, including MTV-Russia. ... История коллектива начинается в 98-м году в Санкт-Петербурге, где осенью, на сцене клуба "Молоко" состоялся дебютный концерт группы "Торба-на-Круче", в составе которой объединились пятеро профессиональны
